Target Group Served: Low income, high risk youth. Serves: Males and females 5-18 years, depending on activity
Income Level: All No charge for services. No charge for needed equipment or supplies.

Additional Information: Services are adapted to community needs: coat drive for kids in winter, bicycle safety program and helmet giveaway in spring. Police officer and citizen volunteers provide the services. Bakersfield PAL partners with other community-based organizations. PAL is opening a community center for after school activities such as computer training and tutoring.
