Welcome

The Kern County Immunization Coalition (KCIC) is a volunteer community group comprised of representatives from over 15 public  and private health organizations.

The Mission of the Kern County Immunization Coalition is to ensure all children and adolescents are appropriately immunized to reduce vaccine-preventable diseases (VPD), as well as to promote awareness of the importance of immunizations in adults.

The Kern County Immunization Coalition was created in December of 1997 and since then has grown into a valuable resource for immunization activities.  Public and provider education is the main focus of KCIC.  Involvement in this organization supports community awareness of immunization related activities.
